1、掌握英語基礎知識

語音、詞匯和語法是英語學習的基礎。掌握不好這三者，就無從提高聽、說、讀、寫的技能，更無從培養初步運用英語的能力。因此：

愉快學習英語

“興趣是最好的老師”。英語是一門有用的交際語言，你若能很好地駕馭它，它就能帶你遨游知識的海洋，讓你領略與母語完全不同的風情。學好英語也為你打開一扇窗，讓你通過它開拓視野、了解外面五彩繽紛的世界。更為重要的是它升學的必考科目：中高考、出國留學等等。因此我們必須讓自己盡快喜歡這門學科。

歸納學習英語

學生對舊知識和新知識進行聯系、比較、歸納、總結或從大量的實例中總結出規律來，不但可以使新舊知識系統化，鞏固舊知識，而且可以運用正確的方法來學習新知識。

學語音時， 要在不規則中找規律。學詞匯時，要在讀準音的基礎上，總結記憶單詞的方法。學語法時，要學會發現規律，采用靈活多變的方法，在用中學。如可以采用歸納法來學語法。初一英語主要有兩大時態：一般現在時和現在進行時。學生已經在小學對它們有所掌握。可利用這一優勢，進行比較、分析、推理，自己歸納結果，再分析結果，總結出語法規則來，用規范的語言來表述其各種不同的用法，不斷練習加以鞏固。

2、英語基本技能的訓練

培養聽、說、讀、寫運用英語的能力既是目的，又是使知識轉化為能力的重要基本功訓練手法。它要求打好口語基礎，并在這基礎上培養讀寫能力。從聽說入手，讀寫跟上是一條有效的捷徑。初一英語教材比較生活化，聽力、口語素材非常多，可以從以下幾種方面來訓練英語基本技能：

聽力方面：通過不斷地聽標準的英語，進行模仿;認真聽老師的課堂用語及掌握有關聽力技巧;經常去英語角，多聽英文歌、英文電臺或收看英文節目;

二、培養良好的英語學習習慣

很多同學訴說學習英語時往往存在用足了勁卻收效甚微的現象，這時我們常會抱怨甚至想要放棄英語。學英語不得法才是癥結的所在。下面我想談如何培養良好的學習習慣和方法：

1、養成良好的預習習慣

課前預習是獨立獲得知識的前提，也是提高聽課效率的可靠保證。預習能減少聽課的盲目性，激發你的求知欲望。預習可使自己初步熟悉教材，發現疑點和難點，找出自己的薄弱點，為下一步聽講作好充分的思想準備，并打下一定的基礎。

如何進行預習：

1) 找出該單元的中心話題，即該單元的中心內容。

2)明確本單元的知識要點：如語法項目、句型及詞匯，

3) 找出本單元的疑、難點。凡是在本單元出現而自己無法解決的知識點，即是重點，也可以說是難點。預習時，在書上作記號，標明重點、難點、疑點，并在筆記本上做好記錄，注明本單元的知識結構、重、難點和預習體會等。

2、養成課堂上記筆記、積極發言、大膽回答問題的習慣

學生在課堂上認真聽講，注意力高度集中，不開小差;保持強烈的求知欲，積極思考老師提出的問題，踴躍發言，努力解決在預習中存在的問題，并作好課堂筆記，重點突出，難點醒目，疑點鮮明。以便復習時可以查閱。努力在課內有目標有意識地去識記該課的生詞、短語、句型、重點句子。

然后要注意一些語言在特定環境中的運用，特別是習慣表達法的運用。在運用中，要主動地用英語回答、討論和提出問題，并注意角色扮演或做游戲等活動。初中生的英語知識主要還是從課堂上獲得。教師起的只是導演作用，關鍵是需要學生作為演員，積極投入，在參與的過程中提高聽說讀寫能力和語言運用能力。因此，學生養成良好的聽說讀寫訓練習慣尤為重要，這是向課堂四十五分鐘要質量的根本保證。

有一小部分的學生怕害羞、怕出差錯，不敢開口講，這會給初中英語學習帶來不利。俗話說：沒有缺點，就不會進步。學生應該注意模仿并主動與教師配合，做一名好演員。不要怕出錯，今天說不好，不代表明天說不好;今天說得少，明天說得多，就是進步;別人這樣表達，你能那樣表達，你就有了創新。只有大膽實踐、體會，才能得到鞏固提高。

3、養成朗讀背誦英語的習慣

英語是一門有聲語言。學英語就要背誦，尤其是我們在母語環境下學習英語，首先要過好語音關。聽清楚了再發音，繼而進行朗讀、背誦?！白x書百遍，其義自見” 就是其道理所在。在讀、背的過程中，可以做到詞不離句，句不離文，不知不覺間增強了語感，記牢了單詞、短語和句型，同時也培養了理解能力，其實朗讀背誦是學生記單詞的最佳途徑。因此，學過的句型、對話和課文要求學生朗讀和背誦，這是提高英語水平的根本保證。

英語學習，朗讀和背誦是必不可少的，尤其對初中學生來說更是至關重要的。中國學生在日常生活中聽到的、看到的、與人交流的都是漢語，即使學了英語，也是 “啞巴英語”。因為平時幾乎不說，更談不上運用。因此中國學生也就很難從生活中得到輸入英語語言材料的機會。

學生在每周有限的幾節英語課當中所學到的聽說訓練由于平時很少說英語，課堂上所學的英語句子除了早讀，其他時間也很難運用、復習和鞏固。 朗讀和背誦是提高學生英語口語能力和英語成績的有效途徑，也是必經之路，也是克服當中國學生的“啞巴英語”的有效途徑。

因此，在初一，我們一定要重視朗讀和背誦。如果能抓住這個時機，學會大聲朗讀，積極背誦常用的句子、精彩段落和一些習慣用語，打好學習、運用英語的基礎。對初二、初三的學習將十分有益。很多學生之所以學不好英語，與在初一沒有打好朗讀和背誦的基礎有很大的關系。由于初一時不讀、不背，導致學過的單詞、短語記不得，不會讀，上了初二、初三，即使想學好英語，由于大量的單詞不會讀，而對英語望而卻步，逐漸喪失信心，終至放棄。
