一、介紹知識背景，培養閱讀興趣

首先，在學會文中生詞，并基本了解其運用的基礎上，采用背景知識介紹、問題設置等方法，激發學生閱讀的興趣;其次，與學生討論實際生活相關的話題，或利用幻燈片、實物，加深對閱讀背景的了解，以此把學生帶入一定的意境。比如，學習七年級第46課的“Let’s Go to the Zoo”，課文的引入可以先出示一張動物園的照片，引出我們周圍的動物，并通過圖片展示的方法，展示我們身邊的動物，然后導入課文的內容，讓學生模仿動物來表演。最后展示一張關在籠子里的獅子，讓學生討論，獅子想待在籠子里嗎?不，它想回到森林里，以此喚醒學生保護動物的意識，這是本課的教育意義。

二、由淺入深，遞進訓練閱讀

教師給學生準備的閱讀材料應該由簡單短小到逐漸加長篇幅，問題設置也逐漸提高難度，使學生閱讀起來有信心。閱讀內容從精讀的Text到自主學習的Reading和練習冊上及試卷上的閱讀;從學生實際生活到社會生活再到科學技術的各方面，由易到難、由淺入深，逐步變難。

三、小組討論，帶動學困生

我任教班級的學生英語水平參差不齊，學生兩極分化現象比較嚴重。我在閱讀教學中嘗試進行分層教學，對不同的學生設定不同的目標：成績較好的學生做綜合性較高的題目，基礎差的學生做容易的題目，然后進行討論。在小組討論過程當中，基礎差的學生能從討論中獲取更多的閱讀信息，幫助提高理解程度。基礎較好的學生能夠加深理解，做一些難度比較大的題目，如推斷題，使他們更上一層樓。這樣能使每個學生都在自己原有基礎上獲得提高，從而增強自信心，保持閱讀的持久熱情。

四、做閱讀題的基本步驟和方法

1.首先先看文章后面的問題，再仔細閱讀該篇文章：也就是帶著后面的問題來閱讀短文，知道出題人的意圖，尤其要注意每篇文章的首尾段落和每段話的首尾句，從而把握文章的主旨大意和作者的目的，選取一些有用的信息，與題目無關的信息一帶而過。

2.仔細閱讀全篇文章，用心琢磨：根據題目的要求，認真閱讀與習題有關的詞匯、句子或段落，并要特別注意一些信息詞，可邊讀邊用鉛筆做些標記，把有關的人物、事件、時間、地點、起因(即5個W：who，what，when，where，why)用鉛筆劃出來。例如凡是遇到人物就圈起來，看完數一數，有幾個圓圈就有幾個人，這樣就會一目了然。在經過這樣細致的處理后，就會對文章的內容和細節一清二楚，對故事的發生、發展、高潮和結局有更深入的了解。這是把握整篇文章內容梗概的一個突破口。

3.最后復讀全文，驗證答案：在做出全部習題后，應將答案帶入文中，再次重讀全文，看文中前后意思是否連貫通順，是否前后自相矛盾，要是意思不相一致或者自相矛盾，就要考慮重新選擇答案。

4.不可忽視的三個合理有效的做題技巧：

(1)瞻前顧后。對于一些具體問題不要局限于一詞一事或一句，而應該從短文整體出發，由主線逐步向外擴展，打開自己的思路，前后上下對照。這樣，就會減少“鉆牛角尖”和“繁瑣分析”的現象。

(2)首尾突破。對于大多數短文來說，尤其是新聞報道或議論文的第一段，或每段的第一句，常包含了全文的主要信息或基本觀點;而結尾部分通常是結局或結論。寓言或幽默短文的結尾也往往是畫龍點睛之筆或是值得探究的地方。

(3)先易后難。先做簡單容易回答的問題，再做比較困難的復雜的題目，并且各個擊破。這樣可減輕心理壓力，有了完成簡單題的內容作鋪墊，就會從中得到一些啟示。

總而言之，在日常的英語閱讀教學中，教師要多給學生講解一些做閱讀理解題目的技巧和方法，訓練學生這方面的能力，同時也需要學生自身扎實的語言基礎，需要平時經過嚴格的基本功訓練和長期的知識積累過程。所以，只有平時認真學習鉆研，才能擁有堅實的英語基礎知識，加上已經掌握的有效合理的做題方法，就會達到事半功倍的效果。
