　　1、 What do you think about..?

　　(1)think about意為“考慮;就…思考”。提問對某人或某事的看法應該用疑問詞what。此時think about可與think of互換。

　　Are you thinking about the question? 你在考慮那個問題嗎?

　　What do you think about that man? 你認為那個人怎么樣?

　　(2)What do/did sb. think about/ of…?這是詢問某人對某事(人)的看法常用的句型，意為“…認為…怎么樣?”，答語往往是對某事(人)的評價。

　　— What do you think about / of the book written by him?

　　你認為他寫的那本書怎么樣?

　　— It is very good. 很好。

　　(3)What do you think of…?可以和How do you like…?互換。

　　What do you think of the film? = How do you like the film?

　　2、 It’s + adj. + for sb. to do sth.

　　It is/was + adj. + to do sth. 意為“做某事是…的”，to do sth.為句子的真正的主語，而it為形式主語，形式主語不能用別的詞來代替，句中可在形容詞后加for sb.，意為“對于某人來說，做某事是…的”。

　　It’s important for us to learn a foreign language.

　　對我們來說，學習一門外語是相當重要的。

　　It’s necessary for us to eat more fruit and vegetables.

　　對我們來說，多吃蔬菜和水果是必要的。

　　這個句型中的for sb.有時也可以用of sb. 二者意義有區別：

　　(1)在It’s + adj. + for sb. to do sth. 中，for sb.意為“對某人來說”，句中的形容詞是用來說明to do sth.的，形式主語只能用it。

　　It’s necessary for the students to do some housework.

　　對于學生們來說，做些家務是十分必要的。

　　(2)在It’s + adj. + of sb. to do sth. 中of sb. 意為“某人…”，句中形容詞可與邏輯主語sb. 構成系表結構，即形容詞是用來說明或形容sb.(某人)的。

　　3、 …that is what we learned

　　what we learned在此作is的表語，是表語從句。引導表語從句的詞除了what外，還有that、whether、as if、which、who、whose、when、where、why、how等。表語從句與賓語從句一樣，要求用陳述語序。

　　That is where I was born. 那就是我出生的地方。

　　The problem is whether he will come. 問題是他是否回來。

　　This is what we need. 這就是我們所需要的。

　　4、 …some more…

　　some more意為“再一些，又一些”，既可修飾可數名詞復數，也可修飾不可數名詞。

　　Would you like some more bananas? 你還要些香蕉嗎?

　　more與another的辨析：

　　(1)more意為“再，又”時，位于表達數目的詞之后，其后修飾可數名詞單、復數或不可數名詞，這些表達數目的詞可以是具體的基數詞，如one，two等，也可以是非具體的代詞，如some、many等。

　　I’m very hungry. I want to eat two more cakes.我很餓，我想再吃兩塊蛋糕。

　　(2)another意為“又，再”，位于單數可數名詞之前或基數詞加可數名詞復數之前，即只能修飾單數可數名詞或與基數詞聯合修飾可數名詞復數。

　　5、 …the friendliest service
